Ethiopian Airlines Canada selects top five videos as part of the Canada150 social media contest. The Canada 150 contest, which launched July 1st encouraged Canadians to create an engaging video and post it on Ethiopian Airlines Facebook page sharing, “Why they love Canada so much.”

The most creative and engaging video will win a trip to Africa! Which includes a 10-day vacation package from Toronto to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe and then to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The contest winner will experience breathtaking adventures as part of the itinerary and experience Ethiopian Airlines CloudNine Business Class.

“We enjoyed watching some very clever and creative videos. It was also interesting to hear perspectives ranging from iconic coffee to the Prime Ministers hair. But the recurring messages amongst many in the videos was about Canada’s multiculturalism and diversity. Overall it was very thoughtful and entertaining. We appreciate the effort put into coordinating the videos and we were very pleased with the engagement online,” said Birhan Abate Ethiopian Airlines Canada Country Manager.

The social media contest was created to engage with followers and to celebrate a milestone year for both Canada’s 150 and Ethiopian Airlines Canada 5th anniversary operating in Canada this year.

“We wanted to do something special this year to mark the occasion,” said Abate.
