Ethiopian Airlines Canada participated in a Canada wide travel trade roadshow to talk to travel agents about an exciting tourism package with Goway Travel in September. The roadshow kicked off in Toronto where Moira Smith General Manager from Goway Travel shared with the audience how their Africa program features 22 countries with wildlife-based tourism. She gave good insight how countries such as Botswana and its Okavango Delta and in Uganda, travellers will experience first-hand seeing gorillas and tree-climbing lions. She told the audience how countries such as Zambia are “pristine and wild”.

The Serengeti is another prime wildlife region, she continued. “It’s like you’re living in National Geographic.” Adding how a “safari experience in Africa is different every single time you do it.”

Birhan Abate Ethiopian Airlines Canada Country Manager and David Timmins Sales Manager attended all the shows speaking to travel agents about the airlines non-stop Toronto-Addis Ababa service and its network within Africa.

“This was an excellent opportunity for us to speak to agents and talk to them directly about our airlines and the connections we have all through Africa,” said Abate.

Abate said many Canadians are booking so many different travel experiences in Africa and exploring different places.

“This show gave us an opportunity to provide agents more information about our airlines and how we are connecting Africa to the rest of the world,” said Abate.
